In Ntnw we use a stat based fighting system which helps to keep fights balanced and fair. Once you have your character approved you start with the stats stated below, to gain more points and to level up you have two ways, the first is missions which can be done solo or some has to be done in three to four man cells. the second is just having fun and doing thread by your self with training or just kicking back with friends. for every 1000 points of exp you gain 6 points to distribute among your stats.

Stamina-5

physical strength-5

Chakra power-5

Speed-5

perception-5

Stamina: Stamina indicates how long a person can fight for before becoming fatigued, the higher a persons stamina the longer a person can fight before getting tired.

Physical strength: This shows how strong a characters punch or kick is, the more strength one has the higher there destructive force is behind there physical attacks.

Chakra power: this indicates how strong ones jutsu is, the higher ones chakra power the higher the jutsu one can use before running out of chakra.

Speed: this shows how fast your character can move for basic speed like throwing a punch or running.

Perception: this allows the character to perceive attacks more clearly or have better accuracy to hit things.

Chakra dash: this is a added stat that you use when using the body flicker or you add chakra to the souls of your feet to get a boost is speed. to calculate this you simply take 50% of your chakra power and 30% of your speed then add those together to get what your chakra dash speed is.

Chakra smash: this is like chakra dash but instead this shows what your physical attacks infused with chakra strength is, just like before you add 50% of your chakra power and 30 of your strength then add them together.

In the world of Naruto, a jutsu ("Technique" or "Skill" in Japanese) is a general term referring to any technique a ninja might use that not any ordinary human could naturally imitate. In some cases the line between a simple action and a Jutsu is blurred and vague, allowing for some humor (Uzumaki Naruto: "What? How did you get loose?!" Uchiha Sasuke: "Rope Untying no Jutsu. It's basic stuff.")
Jutsu are usually the product of channeling chakra to a certain part or parts of the body (through the inner coil system, which is to chakra as blood vessels are to blood) and then manipulating it to create an effect which wouldn't be possible otherwise. If the inner coil system malfunctions or is blocked in any way, it is impossible to perform any jutsu at all.

Basic information
Generally speaking, jutsu are divided into three categories: Taijutsu (Body techniques), Genjutsu (Mind techniques) and Ninjutsu (Techniques that rely on sources beyond those). Besides these main categories there is another, more specific category: Fūin jutsu (Sealing techniques).
Besides being either Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Genjutsu a jutsu can also be "Hiden" ( Secret). Hiden jutsu are jutsu passed down from generation to generation within some clans.
There is technically another category called Kinjutsu (Forbidden Techniques), but it refers not to the type of the jutsu but to the fact that it is forbidden to learn or perform it. A technique can be categorized as kinjutsu if it either causes great harm to the user if overused, such as Rock Lee's Lotus techniques, or if the techniques are dark or sinister in nature, such as many of Orochimaru's skills.
There are also Kekkei genkai. These are not really jutsu, but special, genetically inherited abilities like the ability to copy other jutsu or to merge your body with other bodies. Kekkei genkai abilities that work via the user's eye are called Dojutsu (Pupil Techniques). Some jutsu are based on Kekkei Genkai, like Tsukuyomi.

Ranking
There are seven different ranks in jutsu:
S-rank: Kage level jutsu
A-rank: Jonin level jutsu
B-rank: Chunin to Jonin level jutsu
C-rank: Genin to Chuunin level jutsu
D-rank: Genin level jutsu
E-rank: Academy student level jutsu

as most already know in the world of naruto the ninja or separated up into four ranks, you have Geninin which is the lowest of the ninja straight from the academy, you then have chunin. these ninja normally lead squads of ninja into battle. next is jonin and these are elite ninja that is leaders of cells that look after genin while they get experience. on naruto the ninja way each rank of ninja have multiple ranks.

Genin

Genin-D rank-starting rank

Genin C rank- can become c rank at 500 exp

Genin B rank-can become b rank at 1000 exp

Genin A rank- can become a rank at 1,500 exp

Genin S rank- can become s rank at 2,000 exp

once at S rank for genin you can take the chunin excams to rank up to chunin

Chunin

Chunin D+ rank- can become D+ at 3.000 exp

Chunin C+ rank- can become c+ at 4,000 exp

Chunin B+ rank can become b+ at 5,000 exp

Chunin A+ rank can become a+ at 6,000 exp

Chunin S+ rank can become s+ rank at 7,000 exp

once at chunin s rank you can take a exam to rank up to Jonin

Jonin

Jonin D++ rank- can become d++ at 10.000 exp

Jonin C++ rank- can become c++ at 13,000 exp

Jonin B++ rank-can become b++ at 16;000 exp

Jonin A++ rank- can become a++ at 19'000 exp

Jonin S++ rank- can become s++ at 22'000 exp

Lastly there is the Kage of a village which leads all of a village.

Kage
Kage A+++. must be first 40'000 exp plus have the recommendations of at least three Jonin.

Kage S+++ once you become kage at 50'000 exp your rank goes up

Kage SS+++ once at 60'000 exp your rank goes up one final time.
